2015 Ceramics New Product Award

Introduction:
The New Taipei City Government launches the Ceramics New Product Award in the aim to exchanges in the ceramics industry. It is a platform for contestants to break new grounds and facilitate the benign competition amongst various ceramic brands.

The 2015 Ceramics New Product Award received a total of 182 entries that were not divided into specific groups and have been thoughtfully reviewed by the jurors according to a set of criteria. 9 winning works and 50 selected pieces are all embodiment of traditional skills and personal aesthetics, demonstrating innovative design, current market trend and user-friendly function.

The Yingge Ceramics Museum has convened a jury panel composed of experts from different backgrounds to review the entries and holds the exhibition to expose these new products to a larger audience, trying to better connect the industry with the market. It is hoped that by holding the award can more people get to know Taiwan's refined ceramics better and more resources are coordinated to help ceramic companies sell and distribute the products. It also serves as a golden chance for different industries to cooperate and maximize the added-value. The Ceramics New Product Award continues to gather ever more momentum to fuel the endless stream of creativity.
